Bobateeno

SFORS had a booth set up at Bobateeno on Saturday, September 17th from noon to 3pm at the Cupertino Civic Center. We talked about some of our past projects, future aspirations, causes, and details on how to join our organization. We were able to meet so many new and curious students! There was also plenty of boba for everyone to enjoy!

Global Warming Rally

The Global Warming Rally took place on August 28th from 9:30-11:30AM. The event started with designing posters on the grass field next to Cupertino City Center. Then, the volunteers walked along the streets of Cupertino with their posters, cheering for what they believe in. We hope to see you all at our next event!

We collected a variety of recyclable items, including glass or plastic bottles, aluminum cans, cardboard, second-hand items (books & cloth) in good condition, and beyond. Small businesses and nonprofits, Cupertino Vice Mayor Liang Chao, Sunnyvale Mayor Larry Klein, and Fremont Union High School District Board of Trustees President Naomi Nakano-Matsumoto attended the event to support our recycling initiative.
